BOTH – AND is a way of thinking that allows one to hold two different perspectives in the mind – at the same time.
For example, BOTH – AND Thinking about the Brain-Body allows one to think about:
- the whole Brain-Body system - while at the same time being able to focus on
- a specific Brain-Body part.
BOTH – AND Thinking can help us visualize and analyze Community level function (or trauma)
while at the same time understanding the impact on an individual and the family.
